Trump came back even stronger defeating Kamala Harris after an intense 105 day campaign where they were also debating thought provoking issues facing the country and the world. They both had different views but what they both had in common was wanting to win. Eventually Trump had a stronger campaign that put him back on top of the food chain. There was a lot hanging over Trump and there is a lot that he survived to get to where he is right now. There was an assassination that almost took his life and he gladly survived. He also survived criminal convictions and indictments regardless of everything that he went through, he came back stronger. This makes Trump the first politician since the 1800s to lose re-elect and later mount a successful run. This is considered as the most remarkable accomplishment and greatest political comeback in the U.S history. After the assassination Trump showed so much courage and his assassination attempt was also a defining campaign moment.

His consistency has won him back the states he lost in 2020 he did this with a coalition that included more young voters. He reduced his margin of defeat in states he lost by enough that he may even win the national popular vote. The Republican Donald Trump had a very strong campaign over the Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris this has reclaimed him his power back in the white house. At the age of 78, Trump becomes the oldest man ever elected president breaking a record held by former President Joe Biden whose mental competence Trump savaged. His win ushers a new era of uncertainty for the nation.

His victory was confirmed just after 5:30 a.m Eastern time on Wednesday when he captured the battleground state of Wisconsin putting him above the threshold of 270 electoral votes. Speaking to his supporters in the early morning hours, Trump declared “This will forever be remembered as the day American people regained control of the country.’’ The crowd showed so much excitement as they were listening to the newly elected president as he stated, “I am not going to start wars, I am going to stop wars.” Many people are looking forward to revised foreign policy on issues such as Ukraine and Gaza.
Many would remember the song “Many Men” as the official campaign song after the assassination attempt.
