SIGNATURE SCENT
As a metrosexual I have always been fascinated by different kinds of scents.
But you don’t have be a metrosexual to fascinated by scents I think everyone loves to smell good and it says a lot about you. Your cologne makes an entrance before you even make an entrance. It hugs someone before you even hug them your cologne will speak for you even in your silence. It remains behind even after you are gone. Even if they want to forget you they never because your cologne is still there.
But is there really a secret to a great cologne, I didn’t know much about colognes until I started doing my research on them. Before I did my research years ago, I was just a guy like any other guy that walked in at store and go by the cologne section take the advice given by the sales assistant and go with whatever smelled good at that time. I also bought colognes because of a certain brand that I know or I’ve seen someone using it. At times I’ll be by the cologne section and ask ladies around which one really smells good. I’ve always knew what, I wanted when it came to colognes and but I still had very little information. Sometimes my lady friends would ask me what kind they should buy for their male friends as gift and I’d just suggest any that I’ve used.
So here is some information that might be valuable even though I am not an expert. When it comes to cologne you get what is called an Eau de Cologne which in short is EDC this kind is about 2-4% Concentration and it lasts for less than 2 hours. Than you get an Eau de Toilette which in short is called an EDT which has a concentration of about 5-15 % which can last for about 4 hours this is a cologne that most guys are familiar with also because of the price. Lastly you get what we call an Eau de Perfume which is short is called an EDP this one has a very higher concentration of about 15-20% and can last for about 8 hours. It obviously come at a
higher price but it’s a great value for money and you can trust it to say in your behalf “HE IS HERE”. The most important thing is knowing the kind of a cologne you are buying and its concentration.
Colognes are usually written in the outside if it’s an Eau do Toilette or a Eau de Parfume so that will guide you in knowing exactly the concentration that it has. The most important thing is knowing exactly where to spray your cologne and this is where most people get it wrong. You don’t spray it up in the air and let it rain on you. You also don’t spray it on your clothes but because some colognes are very strong and can harm your garment. Always look for pulse points these are areas that are important. Your pulse points these are areas on the body where veins flow closer to the skin and these areas emit hit which helps the fragrance grow faster. These pulse points are behind your ears, the base of your neck, your chest, wrist and elbow. But remember it is always best to apply your cologne after you’ve just took a shower. Your pours will still be open and it will lock in your cologne. But the best way to make sure your cologne lasts longer apply Vaseline petroleum jelly after a shower when your pours are open on your pulse points than apply your cologne and remember.

Remember less is more.
